Coral Construction Technologies is proud to be the main subcontractor for the structural components of the new Church of the Holy Trinity, designed by the renowned Czech architect Prof. Ing. Zdeněk Fránek. This remarkable building, reminiscent of Noah’s Ark with its vaulted hull and a leaning tower featuring a 22.8-meter bell tower that gently touches the body of the ship, is set to become an architectural and cultural landmark.
The construction relies on unique elements produced with advanced 3D concrete printing. All components will be 3D-printed in our production hall and subsequently assembled on site in close cooperation with the general contractor HSF System, part of the PURPOSIA Group. This approach not only ensures precision and efficiency but also demonstrates the transformative potential of digital construction technologies in contemporary architecture.
One of the greatest strengths of 3D printing lies in its ability to integrate multiple requirements into a single component. In traditional construction, complex elements such as vaulted ceilings with textured finishes, structural reinforcement, acoustic performance, and integrated detailing would require the work of multiple trades—carpenters, concrete casters, bricklayers, plasterers, and custom fabricators.
With 3D printing, Coral Construction Technologies can merge all of these functions into one cohesive element. This reduces time, cost, and complexity while maintaining the highest standards of design and technical performance.
The Church of the Holy Trinity embodies profound symbolism—its ark-shaped nave, spiraling accessible walkway, and the light-filled sanctuary reflect both spiritual and architectural ambition. By using 3D printed concrete, these symbolic forms can be realized with unprecedented freedom of design, precision, and sustainability.
For Coral Construction Technologies, this project is more than construction. It is proof of how digital fabrication and traditional craftsmanship can meet in harmony, creating a building that will serve as a place of worship, culture, and community for generations to come.
